Tanka poem - Shreeram Shrestha

 Tanka poem

   - Shreeram Shrestha

1,

Mercury fish

While trying to grasp tightly

Escaped by slipping

Greed of a whole day

Remembered by swallowing spit .

2,

 Assuring sweet

Eating bread

Satisfied fully

After fully satisfying hunger

Sat out of wings.

3,

Bahun dada

Covered by greenery

Beautiful hamlet

Proliferated silence

Germinated fear and stress.

4,

Burning a light

Light in every comer

Darkness conccaled

In a order of burning

Saved its existence .

5,

Green bamboo

Wishing to touch the sky

At my own pace

Tired while moving forward

Bending due to shame .

6,

Story of heart

Suffocated within the heart

Stayed silent

Germinted pains and sorrows .

7,

Keeping in a lap

pretext to love

Cutting with knife

Inside the cruel hesart

Tide raise up.

8,

The sense of freedom

Trying to spred

Peace laughed

Back warded consciousnees

Sat down backward .

9,

Became close

Intimacy connected

Tighten knot

Crisis in faith

Ruined dream.
